Northstar Commuter Coach

The Northstar Corridor Development Authority currently offers transit service to Northstar Corridor area commuters via the Northstar Commuter coach bus service. Commuter Coach buses stop at Elk River and Coon Rapids-Riverdale park-and-ride lots and travel to the 5th Street Transit Station in downtown Minneapolis eight times between 5:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. weekdays along with eight return trips from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays.

Northstar Link Commuter Bus

In November 2009, St. Cloud Metro Bus will begin to operate the Northstar Link, a commuter coach service from East St. Cloud direct to the Northstar Commuter Rail Line station in Big Lake.

Metro Transit

Metro Transit is the transportation resource for the Twin Cities, offering an integrated network of buses and trains as well as resources for those who carpool, vanpool, walk or bike. It operates the Hiawatha Light Rail Line, 118 bus routes and 9 contract service routes — and will operate the Northstar Commuter Rail Line when service begins.

St. Cloud Metro Bus

The St. Cloud Metropolitan Transit Commission provides public transportation for the citizens of the St. Cloud metropolitan area. The newest service offered by St. Cloud Metro Bus will be the Northstar Link, providing a convenient link between the park and ride lot at Highway 10 and Lincoln Avenue in St. Cloud and Northstar Commuter Rail service.

The official web site of the Counties Transit Improvement Board (a joint powers board of Anoka, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey and Washington Counties), it addresses needs, transitways, legislative proposals and rail authorities in the Twin Cities Metro Area.
