Starting November 16, you can improve your daily commute — thanks to Northstar Commuter Rail operated by Metro Transit. Say goodbye to traffic congestion and say hello to fast, reliable and safe commuting on the state’s first commuter rail service.

At speeds up to 79 mph, you’ll travel between Big Lake and downtown Minneapolis in about 45 minutes, no matter what the weather conditions! Whether you plan to use Northstar for your daily work commute or for recreational activities on the weekends, now is the time to get ready to ride the line!
